Terry Rudnick

About the Author

Terry Rudnick grew up fishing the lakes, streams, and ponds within bicycling range of his home in Washington's Puget Sound Basin, and he has never found a reason to live anywhere else in the world. Although Terry has fished throughout the Western United States and Canada, the vast angling variety of the Evergreen State always brings him home to the waters he's known for more than 50 years. Since selling his first magazine article in 1971, Terry has shared his fishing knowledge in hundreds of feature articles, news stories, and photos published in regional and national outdoor publications. Along the way he has earned numerous writing and photography awards, including the National Conservationist of the Year Communications Award from Trout Unlimited.

An energetic and enthusiastic speaker, Terry gives seminars and slideshows on a wide variety of angling topics for sportsmen's organizations and consumer show audiences throughout the Northwest. He also serves as the youth sport-fishing coordinator for Washington's Department of Fish and Wildlife. When he's not writing, speaking, or teaching, Terry can be found fishing near the home on the shores of Puget Sound that he shares with wife Roberta, son Evan, Labrador Retriever Pepper, and terrier Salty Dog.
